AG.R97: Painwave

Painwave, the debut full-length from AG.R97, was conceived between 2020 and 2021 by Luís Neto and Pedro Pimentel (Wordclock) - the project's mentors - through "a constant collaborative effort", featuring nine "electroacoustic pieces" that combine sound design with advanced electronic arrangements and "an ever-present pop nature". Turva, an audiovisual label dedicated to promoting and publishing experimental art, is their home, and one of the projects to look out for in the near future.

AG.R97 Share New Single 'Vibora Serpentina'

AG.R97, the Oporto duo consisting of Portuguese experimental mainstays Luís Neto (formerly of Shell From Oceanic) and Pedro Pimentel (AKA Wordclock), share a new single 'Vibora Serpentina' from their upcoming album "Painwave". The two musicians, who started out in metal bands, met at college and subsequently opened a studio together in Gaia, Portugal. They began releasing songs via an anonymous YouTube channel shortly after, and then contributed to the acclaimed TRV001 compilation, which was released via the audiovisual label turva.
